Cancellation policy for bookings made before 8th January 2021.
At the present time we are protected by Master Cancel but this insurance policy is being terminated by Mastercancel due to the levels of payouts required during the Covid-19 pandemic. For bookings made before the 8th January 2021 for future holiday dates (that are legally allowed due to restrictions), you can cancel up to and including 2 days before the check in date. Master Cancel’s flexible terms & conditions allow you to book with confidence, knowing that if you cancel for unforeseen circumstances, we will refund you in full. You will be reimbursed at the check-in date of original booking. If you cancel one day before check-in date or on the day of check-in, you will not be reimbursed for your booking costs under any circumstances.
Cancellations for all bookings made after 8th January 2021
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required on booking, the balance being due four weeks before arrival. Bookings made within four weeks of arrival should be paid in full at the time of booking.
In the event of cancellations prior to payment of the final balance, i.e. outwith 28 days of arrival, the 30% deposit will be retained. Cancellations within 28 days of the date of arrival are wholly non-refundable. Holiday cancellation insurance is, therefore, strongly recommended.
If we manage to rebook the property we will pay a refund of the total amount of the new booking.
Our cancellation policy will change in line with most other self caterers in the UK, and may be updated.
Existing bookings taken out in 2020 with the Mastercancel coverage in place are not affected by the removal of this insurance product from the market.
